A leadership development seminar for trainers, supervisors and any officer who is tired of the phrase “that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
There is no more complex occupation than being a police officer. But let's face it, a lot of police training courses and new reform measures are at best ineffective and at worst downright foolish. It's time to evolve.
As an officer, a trainer, or as a leader, you need modern evidence-based tools to help you think critically and make effective decisions. This seminar will give you those tools.
Guest instructor Tom Datro is the Officer in Charge of the Police Science and Leadership Unit with the Los Angeles Police Department and the host of the Policing in America Podcast. Tom will be sharing a behind-the-scenes look on how one of the nation's largest department's is trying to build law enforcement leaders.
In this 8-hour presentation you will learn:
- A critical analysis of modern policing issues and an exploration of real solutions
- What neuroscience can teach cops about sleep, critical thinking, de-escalation and more
- Effective decision making for the complex problems officers face
- How you can fill a void of leadership
- How to constantly develop your own character and those you want to lead
At Savage Training Group, we're only interested in providing training that is modern, well-researched and will actually help cops like you succeed. That's why we’re thrilled to offer this unique seminar taught by an esteemed guest instructor.
If you hate the phrase "that's the way we've always done it" then you are going to love this seminar.
