High-risk critical incidents don’t occur every day, but when they do, officers will be looking for you to lead. However, the conventional training that law enforcement leaders receive has often been bogged down in complicated ICS processes and lacked the type of practical tools that are useful in a crisis.

It's full of easy-to-understand tools that will help you make sense of confusing and rapidly unfolding incidents and implement a safe tactical plan. Our instructors will present examples of how they used the same tools in real-world incidents.

Your Instructors:
Senior Instructor David Bautista is a recently retired Lieutenant with the San Diego Police Department. He has over 29 years of experience, including working in the Patrol and the department’s training division and over 13 years of SWAT experience as an operator, sniper, and team leader. David’s passion is helping cops understand how the law should inform the tactics that they use on the street. More about David
Captain Brian Bixler retired last year from the Los Angeles Police Department after 27 years of service. Brian was the captain in charge of the Metropolitan Division which included overseeing LAPD’s SWAT team, K9s, and several other specialty platoons. He was instrumental in creating LAPD’s disengagement policy. More about Brian
