Whether you are an officer or supervisor, the decisions you make when responding to an in-progress incident can have a huge impact on how it ends. This course will show you how to do it right.
We’ll show you how to respond to an in-progress incident safely, calmly, and methodically. You’ll leave this course with the confidence to easily cut through confusion and uncertainty of a crisis. Spend two days training with us and we’ll skyrocket your leadership and decision-making skills.
You will learn not only the industry-standard tactics, but the latest modern concepts to use on fleeing suspects, barricaded suspects, mentally ill persons in crisis, and more.
We use contemporary videos and modern approaches to interactive learning to bolster your decision-making capability whether you’re an officer or a supervisor. You will leave the course with the tools to assume a leadership role during "hot calls".

The learning doesn’t stop once you take this course. Each Critical Incident Response student will receive 8 separate training videos, sent in succession once a week following the course. This is a powerful way to reinforce what was learned and to interrupt forgetting. The Savage Training Group is on a mission to transform police training from a "check the box" and "one and done" style training mentality into something effective and long-lasting. This is another avenue we use to achieve that goal.

Your Instructor:
Senior Instructor David Bautista is a recently retired Lieutenant with the San Diego Police Department. He has over 29 years of experience, including working in the Patrol and the department’s training division and over 13 years of SWAT experience as an operator, sniper, and team leader. David’s passion is helping cops understand how the law should inform the tactics that cops use on the street. More about David
