The learning doesn’t stop once you take this course. Each Critical Incident Response student will receive 8 separate training videos, sent in succession once a week following the course. This is a powerful way to reinforce what was learned and to interrupt forgetting. The Savage Training Group is on a mission to transform police training from a "check the box" and "one and done" style training mentality into something effective and long-lasting. This is another avenue we use to achieve that goal.

Your Instructors:

Senior Instructor David Bautista is a recently retired Lieutenant with the San Diego Police Department. He has over 29 years of experience, including working in the Patrol and the department’s training division and over 13 years of SWAT experience as an operator, sniper, and team leader. David’s passion is helping cops understand how the law should inform the tactics that cops use on the street. More about David

Captain Brian Bixler recently retired from the Los Angeles Police Department after 27 years of service. Brian was the captain in charge of the Metropolitan Division which included overseeing LAPD’s SWAT team, K9s, and several other specialty platoons. He is passionate about helping cops bring calm to the chaos of critical incidents. More about Brian
