High Performance Leadership for Law Enforcement
(8 Hours)
If you are serious about improving your performance and helping the people around you perform at a higher level, this workshop was built for you.
A growing number of cops today are interested in optimizing their performance. They track their workouts. They listen to podcasts about peak performance. They pay attention to sleep, recovery, and nutrition. They understand that if you want to perform at a high level, you have to train for it.
But here is the question. If you are working that hard to optimize your body, are you putting the same level of attention into optimizing your leadership and performance on the job?
Because leadership in law enforcement is not limited to rank. Yes, chiefs lead organizations and sergeants lead patrol teams, but leadership happens at every level of the profession.
You lead when younger officers look to you for guidance. You lead when things get chaotic on a call and someone has to step up and take control. You lead when your mindset, professionalism, and decision-making influence the officers around you.
Whether you hold a formal leadership position or not, the reality is that every cop leads in some way. And leadership is performance. It is the ability to think clearly under pressure, influence others, and make good decisions when the stakes are high. Yet most law enforcement leadership training does very little to develop those abilities. Too often it consists of generic leadership advice that sounds good in the classroom but rarely translates into better performance on the street.
Meanwhile, other high performing professions take leadership development much more seriously. Professional athletes work with performance coaches. Elite military units invest heavily in developing leaders at every level of their organization. High performing teams train constantly on how to optimize both individual and team performance.
Law enforcement officers are expected to perform at the same elite level. But they rarely receive the same kind of coaching. That is why the Savage Training Group is bringing a different kind of leadership training to the law enforcement profession. This one-day workshop introduces law enforcement professionals to performance principles used by elite military units to build resilient leaders and high performing teams.
Rather than focusing on rank-based leadership theory, this course focuses on performance leadership, the ability to optimize yourself and the people around you so that your team can perform at a high level when it matters most.
Students will learn practical frameworks that can be applied immediately in their professional and personal lives.
