Being a probation officer is a tough job. You try to focus on compassion and rehabilitation, but you still must be concerned about ghost guns, fentanyl, gangs, and mental health issues. The COVID shut down only complicated matters.

As a probation officer, your field contacts and home visits can often involve dangerous individuals and compromising situations. We think you deserve modern and effective training that will help keep you safe. That’s why we are thrilled to present an 8-hour, info-packed seminar just for probation officers like you. You will leave this seminar with a new confidence in how to make your field contacts safe and effective.

This Seminar Includes:

  • Pre-contact Assessments – Doing your homework before the contact
  • Locating contraband and how to decide when to exit the residence
  • Residence/vehicle searches and field arrests
  • Effective forms of communication – verbal and non-verbal
  • Using technology to your advantage
  • Off duty personal safety principles

“My goal is to build your confidence in your decision-making and problem-solving skills in the field.”
