Kyle Shoberg
Kyle Shoberg is a Sergeant with the Citrus Heights Police Department in California. He is a co-instructor of our Patrol Survival Tactics seminar. You may recognize Kyle from being the host of the Shots Fired Podcast. Kyle, and his co-host Mark Redlich created that podcast to highlight the learning lessons from high-risk police operations.
Kyle has interviewed dozens of officers who have been involved in life-threatening incidents. He has taken the lessons learned from their experiences and his own to create the curriculum for our Patrol Survival Tactics seminar.
When students attend our seminar, they get the benefit from learning from a highly experienced instructor like Kyle. Kyle has over 17 years of law enforcement experience and has worked in a variety of assignments. Kyle was a K9 handler for 7 years. During that time, he had over 500 K9 deployments with 60 apprehensions. He was directly involved in four officer-involved shootings. Kyle has received two Medals of Valor, a Distinguished Service Medal, and a Life Saving Ribbon for saving the life of an officer who was shot. He is presently assigned as the Special Investigations Unit Supervisor where he is responsible for overseeing a team of detectives.
Both in hosting the Shots Fired Podcast and in teaching for the Savage Training Group, Kyle is committed to helping cops be safe and be successful during critical incidents.
